Drag racing is definately in the Alston family genes, and Chris Jr. is no different. You can usually find Chris and his 1964 Nova at the Pacific Street Car Association (PSCA) events, running in the Outlaw 10.5 class. Chris' Nova serves as a test bed for the latest improvements in our line of '62-67 Chevy II products. The car currently features our bolt-on Chevy II front strut system, mated to an Outlaw chassis, with an Avenger Scalloped 4-Link; all products readily available through the Chassisworks product catalog.
As with any drag racer, Chris' goal is to continually improve the performance and consistency of the car. And his latest efforts have propelled his Nova to become the highest mile-per-hour supercharged PSCA Outlaw of the 2009 season, at 209.69 mph, with the second highest mph overall.
