gStreet Coil-Spring Suspension Systems
Bolt-In Performance for Popular GM Muscle Cars
Chassisworks now offers a coil-spring configuration of their popular gStreet suspension system for '67-69 Camaros (GM F-Body) and '64-72 Chevelles (GM A-Body); perfect for street performance applications not requiring the added adjustability of a full coil-over suspension. The system utilizes the factory coil-spring layout, allowing an affordable high-quality control arm package with substantial discounts on optional dropped spindles, anti-roll bars, quick-ratio steering boxes, and single- or double-adjustable billet VariShocks. Each gStreet kit includes lightweight, large-diameter, tubular control arms fitted with greaseable, sleeved polymer bearings, and billet cross shafts where applicable. Upper arms feature offset hole inserts to enable two different base caster settings; an increased-caster position for power steering equipped cars and a decreased-caster position for lower steering effort or manual steering box equipped cars. Lower arms accept stock-sized coil springs with factory replacement shocks or adjustable-valve billet-aluminum VariShock shock absorbers.
