My name is Chris Williams, and own a 2007 Undercover Dragster. I have done well with this car. Currently, I have approximately 480 shots on the car. When I originally purchased the car, it had VariShock. The car worked awesome! At approximately 430 passes, something went wrong with the shock. After asking around, several suggested using a different style shock. For the last 50 passes, the car has worked decently on decent tracks; but not as well as it did with the VariShock. On a bad or rough track, I can not get it to work right at all. So after 50 passes with the different shock, I have decided that since the original VariShock worked so well, that’s what I needed to go back to. I won 13 races with the VariShock, and haven’t been successful since I switched. The tracks I normally run at have been around since the 60’s and 2 of them haven’t been re-surfaced since they were originally built. Nobody at my home track can believe that my car works as well as it does. My car will only varies 0.005 a night with the VariShock. When I called to speak with a technical representative from Chris Alston’s Chassisworks, he was very helpful. He told me where I needed to send the shock to repair it, and I got it back within 3 days! I can’t compliment them enough on their customer service. I really appreciate everything they’ve done to assist me on setting up the shock, and returning it to me in a very timely manner. I will be attending a race in Bristol, Tennessee this weekend looking to win $130,000; and I am confident in my car with the VariShock.
