gStreet Coil-Over Conversion
Bolt-In Performance and Hi-Tech Visuals for Popular GM Models
With the introduction of their hi-tech gStreet coil-over front suspension system, Chris Alston’s Chassisworks has once again combined the very finest attributes of form and function. Developed to provide 4 decades of GM passenger vehicles with vastly superior control and handling characteristics, the components were specifically crafted to meet visual demands of today’s enthusiasts. Additionally, Chassisworks’ R&D focused on producing a package that is a straight forward bolt-in process for home or shop builders with access to basic automotive mechanic tools and safety equipment. As shown each gStreet kit includes precision formed, lightweight control arms fit with bonded rubber or poly bushings, and billet cross shafts where applicable. Additionally, Chassisworks provides the ultimate in performance with single- or double-adjustable VariShock coil-over shock absorbers with your choice of spring rate. Unique to the gStreet set up is the integration of true coil-over, eye-style lower shock mounts which allow fitting of longer travel shocks. Ease of installation and no hassle compatibility issues are addressed as the control arms bolt directly to your OEM chassis mounts and stock or dropped aftermarket spindles. Control arms are finished in a flawless grey hammertone powder coat and accept stock-tapered balljoints, while providing improved suspension geometry. Optional ShockWave™ air suspension and specifically valved drag race variations are also available. The gStreet Coil-Over Front Suspension kits are offered for popular GM models from1955 through 1987.
